Tips on choosing a Photographer for your Wedding Day
Check out photographers work on their websites and decide if that is the "look" you want for your wedding photographs. Do the packages suit you? Do you want an Album straight off? Have you got the time and talent to make your own album? Most photographers should be good editors of their work. You are trusting them to take the record of your day so why not ask them to supply a shot list of say 50-75 of the "best" images of the day. These should be finished finals that are available soon after the wedding for social media and also as high resolution files suitable for prints, canvases etc.
It's crucial to meet the photographer before the big day so if they offer a free pre wedding shoot take it up and don't feel you have to go with that photographer. Take advantage of every offer available. It's a competitive market and you need to be allowed the time to decide who "feels" right for you and your partner on the big day. Trust your heart on that decision. No photographer should ever feel in any way insulted that he/she has not been chosen.
Make sure you decide to enjoy the whole process of your wedding planning. If you feel overwhelmed ask your mother, father or friends for help. This is the first day of the rest of your life you are planning so make sure its not a burden or a chore.
